ADRIAN SELBY

Adrian Selby grew up as a creative kid in both Germany and Vancouver, BC. He has a calm, thoughtful approach to his designs and creations as a craftsman.

After getting his diploma in jewellery art and design at Vancouver community College, he spent 25 years forming and fabricating gold and silver jewellery.

His love has now turned from metal to wood. He loves building and has a deep appreciation for the subtle variations and imperfections characteristic of wood. Currently he is passionate about turning end-grain, heartwood into one-of-a-kind cutting boards.

Adrian resides on beautiful Salt Spring Island, BC with his partner Vanya and their son Nico, dog Freida, cat Cole and two dozen chickens.
